I moved to louisiana in January of 2005 from Minnesota. I love it out here but miss my family and friends from back home. I love when they come visit and look foward to the times when i can see them all again. This is a very old state with a lot of history and culture and i am still fasinated by it. Peace out! |

Monroe is around a 4 1/2 to 5 hr drive for me and that's a little too far to away to have to turn around and drive back the same day.. I have to work the next day. My work place is suppose to shut down next month for 2 (maybe 3) weeks for remodeling and I am forced to take my vacation during that time or things will get shut off around here and I kinda like having electricity~LOL !!
I'm not messed up about it. Creaux's not THAT far away and I can sneak up on him at any time..
Watch your back Creaux!! LOL!!

Here is my email pooge1hughes@ao l.com...holler at me sometime lol. Yeah i have a bro and a sis..in KY...but they do nothing. My bro says he has to work etc...my sis is a druggie...she steals my Mom blind. My Mom was a only child...so no help there either...it is hard...Mom used to do a lot more and me more independant...s he is spoiled now. Yeah Tj would love to get away...we have went to the beach in the past but we took Mom and she could not go this year. She does not like help from others...she lays the guilt on us...or me shall I say. I maybe can think of somethin

Thanks hun for all your help! I could try too..Shy lives in Arkansas...no clue as to how long that is...only problem with him is the school! My Mom is totally disabled..no help there! I would love to get away...really I do...I will see what I can cook up..maybe something! I hope it is warm there!! lo

I would love to come to Mardi Gras some time! lol I am not sure i can...I have a 10 year old to take care of and a sick Mom...but things could change...I have talked to Shy for about 5 years now...and would love to meet up with her. We could buddy up on a room...I live in West Virginia...so it would be a drive or a bus ride for me...prolly the later beacuse I would have noone to come with me for the drive It is in February right?? I will see! Not promising but would love to try and come.
