What does the term "when pigs fly" mean? And WHAT do they think we're going to do with this?

Hi A&E Insiders, Wanted everyone to know that we are listening to your concerns and are in the process of working out all your login problems. In the meantime, please try these trouble shooting tips: I requested a password, but was not able to log in with what was sent - You may have clicked the "forgot your password" button too many times. Try clicking "forgot your password" once more. Be sure to only click the "forgot your password button" once. Then login with the password that's emailed to you and the email address you registered with. I didn’t receive the activation e-mail - If you haven't received the activation e-mail in your Inbox within a reasonable period of time, please first look into the following possibilities: 1. Was the activation e-mail sent to your "Bulk Mail", "Junk Mail", or "Spam" folder instead of your Inbox? The activation e-mail should have the subject line: A&E Insider Activation E-mail. 2. Is AEInsiderfeedback@aetv.com on your list of "Blocked Addresses"? 3. Do you have any "spamblocker" or other e-mail filtering software enabled which is blocking e-mails from AEInsiderfeedback@aetv.com? If the above possibilities don't apply to you, you can try re-sending the activation e-mail to yourself. If after re-sending you still do not receive the activation e-mail, it is possible that you may have mistyped your e-mail address on the Registration form, or there is some other issue specific to your Internet Service Provider (ISP) (e.g., Is your ISP's e-mail system blocking e-mails sent from AEInsiderfeedback@aetv.com?) If you think this is the case, you may try re-registering, or sending us an e-mail at AEInsiderfeedback@aetv.com explaining the issue. Why does it say that my e-mail address is already registered? - Our system allows only one account per e-mail address. It’s possible that you’ve already created an A&E Insider account under this e-mail address. If this is so, please try logging in with that e-mail address. If you have forgotten your password, you can send it to yourself by using the password reminder. In the password reminder, enter the e-mail address you registered with to have your password resent to you. Make sure to check for the password resend email in your junk or spam mail. If you did not register for an account previously, please first make sure that you have typed in your e-mail address correctly. Site won’t accept my member name. - Double-check that you are including your complete email address with domain (@ and .com). Also, make sure to check the availability of the name you are registering with. Two members cannot have the same member name. Site won’t accept my password. - Go to your password reminder and enter the e-mail address you registered with to have your password resent to you. Make sure to check for the password resend email in your junk or spam mail. I’ve changed my e-mail address and want to update it on the A&E Insider. - Go to the View/Edit My Profile section of My Profile to update your e-mail address. I forgot my password. - Go to your password reminder and enter the e-mail address you registered with to have your password resent to you. Make sure to check for the password resend email in your junk or spam mail. I’d like to unsubscribe from your e-mail list. - Click on the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the e-mail or un-check all Newsletter check boxes in the My Newsletters section of My Profile. Can I create more than one A&E Insider account? - No. We limit one account per person, per e-mail address. For more Insider rules, please refer to our Membership Conditions. Thank You, The A&E Insider -- Edited by InsiderAdmin at 02/09/2009 2:09 PM PST

The post by post moderation is ridiculous, there is no way this will work.....it is just too slow. And I agree, the log in process just confused things horribly.

As if it wasn't screwed up enough before, now some people can only log in to Insider, but not on the message boards. You guys really screwed it up this time. I hope your advertisers are getting discounts.

It’s now been several weeks since A&E screwed up our logins. Many people have created new IDs that are close to their previous ID but have lost their PMs, contacts and friends in the process. Some people have not returned at all. I say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! A&E we want answers! Will we ever get our old IDs back? What about our PMs? Your lack of communication is appalling. WE are the viewers that make A&E what it is! WE are the ones that watch your shows faithfully and give you the ratings you have, yet you act as if we don’t exist. TO THE POSTERS: Please contact A&E and protest about this screwed up login process and silence on their part. If we all protest maybe we can get some answers. http://www.aetv.com/ (Contact Us at the bottom in light gray) P.S. A&E, the Intervention forum has suffered the most. Many people went there for help. Not only have they not been able to come back but the people that helped them can’t get in either.
