Good tidings indeed!! I just bought the complete collection, every episode and film at this link:http://www.cdwow.us/Wind-In-The-Willows-Complete-Collection-11-Disc-Set/product/view/3812677.
It is put out by Freemantle and it has it all. The only problem is that it is PAL region 2. I wrote to A & E and were no help at all in finding out if they would make it for NTSC. I had to buy a DVD player that not only played all regions but converted it to play on a NTSC TV also. The DVD was cheaper than I thought. Here is the link to some great ones:http://www.regionfreedvd.net/. A small price to pay for such a great series. The DVD player will play any disc from anywhere, all region, scratched, chinese bootlegs, ANY DISC. Buy the Freemantle Complete Collection while you still can. It looks like A & E must have bought just the American release rights for just Season 1 and 2. Worst comes to worse, you can find a media player program on your computer that will play PAL. Good Luck fellow Wind in the Willows lovers.

I bring tiding of great joy. Freemantle media are releasing the whole of the wind in the willows (all 5 seasons and both movies). I've confirmed this with their publicity department. The boxed set is called:
Wind In The Willows - The Complete Collection (Box Set) (DVD)
It is zone 2 but I wanted to let you guys know because I read your posts and it was great to find other people who loved this show. It’s coming out in the UK on the 13th of October. I would assume A&E will follow with a similar release very soon. All best guys.

Here's one American mom who LOVES the A&E Wind in the Willows DVD's! My kids adore these, and we are waiting with bated breath for Series 3-5 to come out. I've been watching for two years for them to be released, why are they not out by now? Please--for all of us who love this series and want our kids to enjoy classic, clean and edifying entertainment, release these episodes so we can enjoy them, too. Thank you!

I am 25 years old and not ashamed to admit that i still regularly watch these amazingly impressive and enjoyable creations of entertainment, weather i'm at home on the sick looking for childhood comforts or just fancy watching them all again, I never tire of watching them.
like most of us fans, I have the 2 feature films on dvd, and the 1st and 2nd series too, however, because my mother had the foresight to record ALL 52 original episodes and the final 13 oh mr toads when they were on tv, I have now been able to convert the original betamax/vhs recordings onto several dvds for my own archive.
this is all good and well, but i would MUCH prefer to have them on a remastered dvd in a box set or something, as we all know that the picture and sound quality isn't exactly perfect from betamax/vhs!!! lol

like all of the comments above, I cant sing the praises of this series enough as it has given me thousands of hours of viewing pleasure and will hopefully give me and my future children thousands more.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

Will you finish the job and get the final 3 series released!!!!!!!

WIND IN THE WILLOWS....... "ITS THE ONLY THING!!!!"

"POOP POOP!!"

Who do we need to appeal to to get seasons 3, 4 and 5 released? I absolutely love this show, It is as good now as it was when I watched it as a kid. I saw the Masterpiece Theatre version, and I was very disappointed. Nothing can compare with the Cosgrove Hall production of Wind in The Willows. I am amazed at how many other people, besides myslef, love this series as much as I do. Please A&E, don't keep us waiting.

I'm always cynical about whether customer inquiries, such as this board post, ever yield any results, but just in case I need to add my voice to this and beg for A&E to release the next series' of Wind in the Willows.

I've bought the movies and the first two series as I'm sure everyone who's commented has, and would greatly appreciate the rest of the series to be available.

Knowing that the shows from Series 3, 4 & 5 are out there somewhere is tantalizing. My question is: who should we be lobbying to get them out on DVD? It looks as if Fremantle Media (part of Radio-Tele Luxemburg or RTL) might be the people to persuade. There is a lot of pent up demand out there and distributing DVDs on-line is very inexpensive. So what's the holdup? It's a shame that Cosgrove-Hall sold the rights to the shows or else they could make some handy cash the way that Pluto Music does with the soundtrack.
Anyone out there with any bright ideas?

I hereby encourage A&E Home video to finish their work, release season 3 & 4 of the 52 episode series "The Wind in the Willows" in the nearby future. It's a gem among DVDs to have this collection and as a collector I find it best to have it entirely so it doesn't stand out from my other collections. I think you get my point.
Did anybody say there is a final fifth season in this collection? I never knew.
Thank you!

I have contacted everyone from A&E to Fremantle Media but to no avail. PLEASE bring us Series 3 - 5 - we are waiting so patiently! I have to say that this show is something that ALL ages can watch - I even got my 88 year old grandma to watch it and she's in love with it. It's so expertly done. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE bring us the rest of the series!!!!!

This series really is one of my fondest childhood memories, and I`m quite cleary not alone in this. The release of series 3, 4 and 5 on DVD would bring untold happiness to those of us who cannot forget the innocent and warm beauty of the Cosgrove Hall prodction. If I could add my name to a petition a hundred times I would.

For the sake of a new generation of fans ´Knowing all that`s to be know-ed´, please ensure a complete and eternal collection of this perfect series.

I cannot express in words how much I want to see the remaining seasons of this show released on DVD immediately! I had never even seen nor heard of the show before DVD and now I am one of it's biggest fans! Don't deny me Seasons 3, 4, and 5!

There is clearly no need for me to wax lyrical about this timeless show as such a good job has been done by previous correspondents.

I would add that I, too, hope that A&E continue to produce DVDs of the series as I already own the pilot and seasons one and two and would be very disappointed if I could not complete the set.

Fingers crossed, sales of A Tale of Two Toads will be sufficently high that the company will be encouraged to continue.
