We know one thing for sure. His first attacks were very near the AF base. If I am right and he was dis-organized when he first started his attacks. Then you could expect a dis-organized rapist to start near where he lived. Then you can see how he matured and attacked further and further out. Then he really get's bold and has his confidence level up when he starts to attacking couples. Let me reiterate the EAR/ONS has a deep hatred for women. Anyone who does what he does to people and most of his victims were women must hate them.
WHY???
What happened in his life to make him want to inflict pain, horror and death to his victims. The Cruz girl was savagely beaten and sexually assaulted. Very simulair to the MO of the I-45 Corridor Serial Killer Houston Tx as far as beating his victims. The Cruz girl was struck numerouse times knocking her teeth out and crushing her head. What kind of hate causes a punk to want to do this?

We all don't think of the EAR as a sick soldier. He might have been an Airman, but probably no combat experience. But then no one knows for sure. He could have been a guy that fell of a ladder and hit his head. I don't want to bring the "WRATH" back on me by applying anything about a Vietnam Vet. You can if you want,- but be ware. Most folks think he was stationed at Mather AFB, got out and then used the G.I. Bill to attend classes at a neighboring college. Have you been to the EAR/ONS web site. Lots of info there. and for new people to this forum board,IT WOULD BE A GOOD THING TO READ ALL THE POST BACK FROM PAGE ONE TO GET A GRIP ON THIS STORY.It seems as though were staring to get alot of repeat questions, which is good, but going all the way back will open the senario up for you.

EAR vs DC sniper....wierd H

The more I think about the connection to the military, the more my hair stands up on end. I have a few pondering questions. If the EAR/ONS is a sick soldier who is used to torturing and killing innocent people, then why wait until Goleta to start killing for the first time back in the states? What does make sense is the conjecture that maybe Brian Maggiore was onto your guy at Mather's base in Sac. and he was eliminated. After this murder the rapes stopped in Sac and the EAR moved south...interesting yes? When you think about how the EAR was able to out maneuver the police and execute his crimes it reminds me of the DC sniper case. The EAR was well trained and the sheriff's who chased him one night were amazed at his evasive abilities. The DC sniper, who was also military trained, had the same stunning effect on law enforcement...the only reason he got caught was that he contacted the police often and gave too many details which ultimately led to his capture...
