Nope, Barskin, that can't be right - if he was moving closer to HELL he wouldn't still be in Maryland. Especially the part of Maryland he's in - its adjacent to Almost Heaven (West Virginia). I think hell is nearer to New Jersey...............

Nearer release transfers move the inmate closer to their legal residence or release destination, consistent with their security level.

A Federal offender will usually serve his time at a facility within 250 miles of his home , if possible
FCI Cumberland is within this range of his new 'family' since MacDonald re·married
That's the reason he's in Maryland
As for the question of WHY a Level 8 Offender is serving his time in a Medium Security Prison , well , that's the subject of another thread

We are waiting on the government's response to the last appeal of MacCamp. Hopefully the response will be soon.

I'm not sure what his release address would be but it must have changed from time to time or he wouldn't have been transferred from FCI to FCI. Terminal Island was NEVER intended to be his permanent lockup (from what I understand) and he went from there to Bastrop, TX and then to Sheridan, OR. So either he changed his release address of there is less than perfect behavior in his prison background.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if he was GONE from our state? We'd have to throw a Mardi Gras style celebration! Ya'll are invited!

What would Inmate's release address be? The state that he was living in when he was arrested? I would be fine with shipping his sorry arse back to the West coast.
Hopefully he will get divorced from Mrs Drama queen before he drops dead, otherwise she might burry him in Maryland.

However, in the end, IF the end of the the macmarriage is in the offing, maybe it has benefits for US! Once he can no longer use her address as his release address they will have to be sure mac is in a facility within a certain distance of his release address thereby getting him out of our beautiful state!!!!!!
PS: I must admit that LB's blog sounded quite a bit "dog in the manger"ish to me!!!!

Someone donated 100,000 to that sleaze-bumb? How horrible. What a waste of money.
Maybe part of the problem in paradise is that Mrs Inmate is tired of putting out money to Inmate, it is sort of like flushing it down the toilet (har, har, har, just a little PenFed humor). Actually that would be a farily direct way of getting money to Inmate, since he is busy cleaning toilets on the other side.

Personally, I think they're perfect for each other for they both are classic users. Jeff uses Kathryn for money and advocacy, while Kathryn uses Jeff for camera time.
Justthefacts.
We know that MacDonald demands lots of money from his supporters (remember Melinda Stephens who forked out a whopping $100,000 dollars for his defense team), and it would interest me where Kathryn gets her money from. According to info from Lucia Bartoli, KMD grew upo in a trailer park, so she must have come from a very poor family.
And I think a children's drama school isn't exactly a gold mine either.
But maybe she got some divorce settlement from one of her ex-husbands?
Or maybe she was involved in some shady business dealings with that last husband of hers, Rajeev(?) Kurichh?
Remember that poster on A&E who recently complained that R. Kurichh had tricked her and still owes her money for rent? Seems like R. Kurichh is a pretty sleazy type.
I wouldn't put it past KMD to have been involved in dubious dealings like that when she was still Mrs. Kurichh...
