Hi 4 Leaf Clover...welcome to the board. It's nice to see someone new who supports Criss and enjoys his work. I will go back to Vegas as soon as I can. Right now I can't due to an illness in my family.

Enough of stuff from months ago .... this is much more recent from only March 2, 2009. Itricks usually is just about bashing Criss so them printing something positive is very encouraging! I suppose the work they have done on the show since it opened is finally paying off. In other Believe news, we got a call from a qualified source on Friday raving about the show. According to the source, pacing has tightened, the crowd was responding at all the right moments and even Criss’ acting (which has been mercilessly picked apart in reviews) was convincing and engaging. Maybe the show has righted itself and maybe it has not. However, what’s worth noting is: this has never happened before. From previews until Friday, no one who’s seen the show and spoken to us has had such kind words for it.

I've seen the show twice. Saw it right after the permeire and again in mid-December after it was suppose to be "improved" with new illusions added.
It was bad the first time. The storyline was lacking emotional appeal. I never once felt anything for the charaters. Also the storyline, made no sense whatsoever. I understand that in a way it was suppose to be disjointed but Criss is no Tarantino.
The illusions were aweful. You could easily tell how each of them was done. Bad storyline, bad magic.
I saw it agin in December on a lark. My friend and I wanted to see what changes they had made to "improve" the show. Bascially, all they did was get RID of illusions. They deleted a levetation after the wedding scene and the tornado is completely gone.
The only "improvement" they made was in the very last scene. They deleted the re-enactment of the Wizard of Oz. In the earlier show they recited the last lines of Oz almost word for word. Very corny and unoriginal.
Also, none of the magic is new. 90% of what is done in the show has been seen on Mindfreak.

What's the matter wiseoldangel, can't stand the truth? The vast majority says his show is a bomb. The few who refuse to admit it won't save dear Criss. Once a phony, always a phony.
