Interesting movie....however found a mistake at the end

Wanted to bring this to attention earlier but haven't had the chance. When Ike met with soldiers of the 101 Airborne at the Airfield, it would have been the evening of June 5th....since they jumped into Normandy just after midnight on June 6th. I believe the movie caption showed that this took place on June 6th....on June 6th all those 101 soldiers would have already dropped into Normandy,,,many hours before that.

Tom Selleck was an excellent choice of portraying Ike....and was a very, very good movie. Glad to see they portrayed Degaul as he truly was and most of the French people still are today.

And lastly, yes it is a disgrace to see Alec Baldwin introduce anything about our US wars on the History channel, as he and several other actors countinually protest things going on in this country....after they have made millions playing our war heroes, such as Baldwin playing Jimmy Doolittle in "Pearl Harbor". It is a true slap in the face to our veterans....especially a slap in the face to vets like my grandfather who was a medic on Okinawa or my my uncle who was with the 4th Cav Recon and one of the first 4 sodiers to amphibously land on French soil on DDDAY on the Marcoufs.
