I agree. Gen Patton was portrayed as a complete dope. I doubt seriously that he was like the slack-jawed overweight moron that was protrayed him in "IKE". He reminded me of a buffon.
Many articles and books that I have read concerning people who knew and interacted with Gen Patton do confirm, however, that he was nuts.

WHY would you lead the public to belive this man was not the hero that his was?
I only saw a short portion of this "epic" and am afraid that the ignorant (for lack of a better word) will see our heros as week, and not what those of us who were brought up believing.
Understanding that this movie is based on "IKE" I still do not approve of the way GENERAL Patton was portrayed.
This is MY feeling. this is MY concern...
