I wish to commend Mr. Selleck on his portrayal of Ike. In his gestures, his facial expressions, his ability to convey emotion with the lift of an eyebrow or the pursing of his lips, he WAS Ike. My father lives with me and is 84 years old. He lived World War II and all that went with it, and he said, "Tom Selleck did a heck of job playing Ike." High praise from a tough, unemotional American man of the "Greatest Generation."
