Hi, again -- You'll adore the film, the recent one with Ciaran Hinds -- it looks like I'm a big fan of his. You're right about poor Jane Eyre too -- she came along in terrible times for women, everyone really, with a ghastly class system, the evil Industrial Revolution, half the world still enslaved, massive hunger everywhere, poor pay, non-curable diseases everywhere, few human rights, many women had to take to the streets just to enable them to eat now and then, women sold really to their future husbands as if they were any animal, most servant girls were victimized by their employers, and on and on. She is very strong and stood up to Mr. Rochester bravely. Anyone else would have fired her on the spot. A gal with no dowry had a hard way to go. She is fired with courage alright. Cheers.

Hello, I adored Jane Eyre! We haven't had to read it in school yet (I'm in high school, too), but I couldn't wait to read it! I adored Mr. Rochester because...I don't know something about him draws you to his character. I thought Jane was wonderful because she was so independent and strong-even though she didn't really think that she was. I haven't seen the movie yet. Sincerely, Fan Of Forester

hi y'all! I'm a high school student and for english literature we're reading Jane Eyre. We've read other several books but Jane Eyre is the 1 & only!! The story is wonderful and keeps you reading. It's no.1 in the library list of our school, and no.1 in aour public library. Can u believe it?! I wish they'll show the film on T.V because then, more people will realise how amusing it is. Love, Innereye xxxxxxx
