I have seen many of his other films - Mayor of Casterbridge, Persuasion, Ivanhoe, Road to Perdition, Laura Croft, etc. Although it wasn't a big hit, Road to Perdition was a great movie. Check it out if you get a chance.

Ciarán will be singing in the film 'Phantom of the Opera' coming to cinemas in Dec. (His is a small role, however; so I don't know how much, if any, singing he'll do outside of a chorus situation). I believe Ciarán was asked about the singing in Jane Eyre and his response was that it was not him singing. (I doesn't sound like him singing, imho.)

I don't think it was the actors singing.

I too would like to know who is singing - and what song is it? I LOVED the Hinds/Morton version of Jane Eyre. I have seen all of them, except the Dalton version, which I have yet to receive in the mail. After seeing JE -- I ran out and bought all of Ciaran Hinds movies. He's a fantastic actor! I love you Ciaran!

Good day. I am trying to find out who was singing the duet (Miss Ingram and Rochester) in this version of "Jane Eyre." I can locate nothing on-line that indicates whether it was actually Ciaran Hinds and the actress who played Blanche, or whether other singers' voices were dubbed in. My assumption was that it was *not* the actors singing, but of course that could be wrong. Thanks kindly for any assistance.
