It is not blasphemy to speak in tongues without an interpretation, only preferable. Those who are opposed to tongues have twisted the scripture in order to prohibit manifestations of the Holy Spirit.

I Corinthians 14:4-13 says: "He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church. I would like every one of you to speak in tongues, but I would rather have you prophesy. He who prophesies is greater than one who speaks in tongues, unless he interprets, so that the church may be edified. Now, brothers, if I come to you and speak in tongues, what good will I be to you, unless I bring you some revelation or knowledge or prophecy or word of instruction? ....For this reason anyone who speaks in a tongue should pray that he may interpret what he says.

I Corinthians 12:28 talks about "...different kinds of tongues." The type of tongues shown in the documentary were for the personal edification of the person not as a spoken message to the congregation as a prophetic message.

I hope this helps to clarify the matter.

Indeed and I also enjoy the fact that such a "moral" foundation spoke in tongues with no translation. Paul, I believe, specifically said it was a form of blasphemy to speak in tongues with no translation. I guess they did not read that part preparing for jihad.

I watched this last nite i was so disgusted with it,al i saw was the video of a cult.

The kids speaking in tongues and they had one on the floor looked like he was having a seizure ,this was horrible.

And the lady pastor said we need to put our focus on the kids, gee um i wonder why.

If i remember correctly it says in the Bible that Jesus dies for our sins ,it didn't say anything that we were to die for Jesus.

I'm sorry but this was just ghastly.

I watched the clips from Jesus Camp and Man are they scary! OMG how could a mother want to train her kids to die for Jesus?

These people think Muslims are bad training their kids to be an army for god so they are training their kids to be an army for the christian god.

The film is well done but the subject matter is just so frightening!
