Patti is a great lady... We may or may agree with certian aspects she does. As for the old News Article posted...one main point again.. Did those people think after paying her for her services that they would have love??? or where they paying for dates that she may have given to those clients, but the clients didn't like them?? Would be like paying for something and using it and not liking it and then trying to get a refund for it, maybe when no refund could be offered. I found those issues with here and BBB to just be people trying to get more money out of her.Funny how the issue came to the surface after the show aired. ?????? john

Something about the John epi has always bothered me, it is the fact that Patti went to his house. Why would she, a professional take time out to visit her client at home?? Also, why out of the clear blue sky would she ask anyone about their sexual history? Sheesh you aren't going to jump in bed with the first person she sets you up with. That should be between the people she sets up not her. -- You can't scare me....I'm Sicilian

I missed the initial airing of the Jack/Andrea episode, got to see it last night.... I actually thought it was one of the better ones.... but Charlie's story is inspiring, if nothing else, for us chubby chicks! But the Janet/Derek episode - ehhhwww boy - why did she call Janet's date (can't even remember his name) 'out of bounds' in regards to the turning of the conversation, but didn't make the same call on John's date Lisa? And oh, yeah - what if Patti had talked to John the way she did Derek - ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch..... Anyway, whether you like Patti or not, the whole matchmaking thing, be it online or in real time, is a total gamble, having invested significant resources there myself! BTW - has the server crashed with the posting of Patti's link earlier today???

I do not agree with the people she has put together. The only one I thought was right was Charlie. Now it seems like maybe they are doing it for good TV.

hello all, and first I would like to thank John for replieying to what I said befor... Some of you that have spoken on this topic are takeing things a little out of context I think... Thou the thought of Patti getting so smashed she pee's on someones bed is funny... I have to say it has no merrit in her job proffetion good or bad (havent we all been realy smashed befor). I would like to re'say John did get a lowsy date.. And some on this forum has said that Patti doesnt need a degree to give good advice... However to give her cliants better advice then not eat so much... or dont talk about your religious belifes.. I must say, if she was truely into helpin others then she would give proffetional advice.. Not just her own street credit advice... E harmany.com matches poeple on 29 levels of compatibility they say... Patti matches poeple by tosseing there profiles on the floor like lego blocks (as you see in one episode) and comeing up with the most likely date that is in her files.. There is never shown any foot work on her part on seekin an appropriot match.. So if your lucky and had gone to Patti... And if the kind of person you was lookin for felt the same way and went to Patti, then you may find a true match. I belive that I could toss darts at a phone book and give you more dates.. Only I would just charge 20 bucks.. And there I said it.

Carina, I don't think liz is trying to be rude to you. She's just making a statement in general. All of the accustation and criticism about Patti is no different than what you hear about anyone in the spotlight. Just because someone can dig up some dirt about someone doesn't mean that person has no value. JFK Rudy G from NYC Bill Clinton OJ Pete Rose Willie Nelson Waylon Jennings Patsy Cline Micheal Vick George Bush Liz Taylor etc., etc., etc. -- We come to love not by finding a perfect person, but by learning to see an imperfect person perfectly.

Obviously, the network does their > homework. It's on the air for entertainment. **I didn't dig anything up, its the truth about her life. She discredits herself by not delivering on her promises. One client here has said that she never calls as promised. How can she conduct legitimate business if she keeps giving people the round around?? Yes, the show is entertaining. I have my own opinions on it but I am NOT here to bash other posters like some are so fond of doing here. Simple discussion either good or bad doesn't seem to be allowed as posts disappear quickly. -- You can't scare me....I'm Sicilian

I think Patti is great. I believe if you sign up to get an honest opinion from her, then that's what you get. I say if it works for you then sign up. If it doesn't then...move one down the road and don't let the door hit you on the way out. I don't understand digging around someone's past to discredit her. Obviously, the network does their homework. It's on the air for entertainment. She's not giving medical advice. The clients sign a contract & disclaimer. For those who sign up, it's their choice to do so. For me, I enjoy the show. I enjoy Patti's advice. Works for me

Where you one of the people who sued her? Are there any statistics on how many people she has actually matched and have gotten married? -- You can't scare me....I'm Sicilian

In this day and age she sounds pretty human to me. -- We come to love not by finding a perfect person, but by learning to see an imperfect person perfectly.

Yeah her credibility is shot with me too after the story about her on a Buffalo news channel. The comments about the story were even better. She has a lot of people who don't like her and like to share their experiences with her. Personal experiences. A trail of infidelity, divorces, DWI, hard drinking. I very much enjoyed the story about her being so drunk that she wet the bed at someons house. Classy.

I heard that too. I believe she refunded the money. People were complaining they weren't getting what they were asking for.
