Sargent Mason is the bomb. Alot of these cases need a detective like her on the case!!!!!!!!

It's amazing how Sergeant Caroline Mason has the gift to listen. She (along wiht her team,) are able to get a young man to break down and feel bad about his crime.

I look up to Det. Caroline Mason because I am a young, black woman in the criminal justice field and she is a diva like me. She does a wonderful job and looks good doing it.

I feel the same way...
It really does seem like she does so well with people because she's herself and she's real. And I personally love watching her with her curling iron in her cubicle! She's awesome, I love her.

I think Caroline Mason dresses extremely approprite. She is well dressed and does not in anyway apprear to be ghetto. I do think the show is about catching criminals and solving murders, NOT about fashion. I noticed you didn't mention how the Detectives in Miami are always shining their shoes @@ Your comments are beyond sexist

As long as she gets the job done, that's all that matters. If the dept. doesn't have a problem with it, why does it bother any of us?????

I was hoping that I could reach Detective Mason to ask her to read a poem/rap that I wrote. It is from the perspective of a mother who has lost a child to senseless violence. It is really good, everyone I have showed it to has ended up crying and saying that it is excellent. I realize that the Detectives probably get alot of odd and crazy mail from people but please note that I am not crazy, I have just been watching the First 48 and it breaks my heart when the people getting killed are so young, and mostly African American. I am not African American but I am a mother. I cant begin to realize the pain these families face. The fact that it is pretty much a fact of life for some is beyond fathomable. Det. Mason, if you are interested in hearing it, please get back to me. I am positive you will not be sorry especially since you have children of your own. Thank you for your time. It was the show that inspired the poem/rap.

I love it when she goes to a raid wearing a bullet proof vest and heals! I guess she figures someone else will chase the suspect if they try to get away lol. Werk it mama!
