I think that Detective Mason is a great role model for strong women. She holds her own in a field that is dominated by men and they like her that is a good thing. I really enjoy the show when it is in Memphis I wish that I could meet her in person. All I can say is do what you do Detective Mason!

I could not agree more with original post. She has the demeanor and attitude of a real pain in the a_ _. She kind of appears lazy to me, but she has one strong suit; that she is real good in the interogation room. She always get the suspects to open up, especially the younger ones. Other than that i would not want to work with her..

 OMG!!!!!!!!!! Who really gives a s**t how the woman acts. Do ne of u HATERRRRS think that her supieriors cared bout what she looks like then promoted her through the ranks bcuz of that???????? H**l no!!!!!!!!! The woman got as far as she did 4 bieng the BEST at what she does. To the person that started this thred<><><><> it sounds like to me that she must have offended u in someway. Did she bust a close friend of ur's or something and, do what she does BEST, make them confess?? come on grow up ur not n the 2nd grade ne more  |

i actually like her, although she is way too concerned about how she looks, i think she's an excellent detective that is dedicated to her work. I think the camera man purposely shows this side of her to let us know how materialistic she is which is unfair. SHe is excellent at solving cases. i personally think she's excellent.

Did you see her in one episode with her fake Gucci glasses on. She was wearing them ahwile driving to a witness house. She looked so ghettooo.

I personal like Detective Mason. She may have some sense of "Diva" to her, but she does a damn good job at what she does. She may want to look pretty with her hair, nails, clothes and things like that but she never lets that stop her from what needs to be done. She is very good and secure with what she does. She always has some way to get into these criminals heads and make them break. Especially the younger males because she seems so caring with what she does. I think she is wonderful.

Ummmmm, I think someone (whoever started this) is missing the point. Det. Mason isn't "one of the guys", she is a woman, who wants to represent herself as a "woman" who solves cases and put hard criminals in jail and at the same time - she looks good doing it! What's wrong with that? By the way, she's a 19 1/2 year Veteran. I don't think she worked her way up to being a Sergeant because her Superiors admired or disliked her nails, hair and wordrobe! She's doing her job! So STOP HATING!!!

I LOVE CAROLINE AND EVEN THOUGH I'VE ONLY MET HER THROUGH TELEVISION I THINK SHE IS A WONDERFUL PERSON WHO CARES ABOUT APPEARANCE AND THERES NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT AT ALL GIVE HER A BREAK AT LEAST SHE GETS THE JOB DONE.

Ok, I know this is my first post on here, but after reading all the others I just had to put my 2 cents in. Inspector48, I think you hit the nail on the head. Sgt. Mason does have style as any true SOUTHERN WOMAN does. I thinks she carries it well. But the main thing about Sgt. Mason is that she can get the job done. Everyone that has been down on her I think has missed the whole point. She is a damn good investigator. I am a investigator also from West Tennessee and we all have our own style whether it be male or female. As far as the others who have posted in here that are annoyed, I think or at least I hope they know how to change the channel.
