The Horatians mods have set up a temporary forum for those of us who have been displaced by the technical difficulties. You can visit the temporary forum here. Please come and join us, Gosia! -uHf

Hi Margaret, Good to see you around here. It has really been very quiet because A&E has decided that they only want North American fans to sign up and most everyone has moved on to horatians. Unfortunately horatians has been having some technical difficulties the last couple of days. Cheers!

Hi everyone, It's been a looong time since I've been on these boards, with good reason. I've been busy taking that course I mentioned-- it was an Intro to Archaeology class. I got an A+ in it, so I am very happy that I took it. It was really great. Learned lots of neat stuff, and my Prof was excellent at Hunter. Anyways, I thought A & E got rid of the HH boards, so I sadly gave up coming on here. But now, I see I was mistaken and I'm BACK! I hope eveyone's been well-- is it still quiet? I've been reading some of the HH fan fic, and I gotta tell you, they're really great! Bye, Margaret

Hope you get to do the course you wanted, Margaret. It's difficult to get up the steam to do something like that, but so good for us once we've done it! Best of luck! Ruth x

Hi Gosia! Good to see you! It's terribly quiet here, but not to worry, there are still flurries of action now and again, especially when prodigals like yourself return to the fold! Do stick around. Maybe now the holidays are over, there'll be more chatter here. PTP

As you can see there is very little activity on the boards at the moment. New movies would definitely liven the place up.

Happy New Year to everyone!! It's been a long time since I've been on board, and I'm glad to see poeple are still frequenting it. I recently rewatched D & D, and boy oh boy, do I wish they'd make more HH episodes!! :>( My resolution: haven't really made any... I guess just to relax more, and take a class I've been wanting to take for a while now but haven't had the fortitude.... Best wishes for a bright new year, Margaret

Yes, FMU, I carry much the same. (Plus 3 different types of spectacles). How familiar all this from everybody sounds. I do have a bag with lots of pockets but don't believe it's an excuse to be organised, it just means more pockets for junk!

Oo, I could talk about handbags at length! I have several and keep swapping between them; it's not really that I like to carry everything including the kitchen sink around with me but I do like to be prepared for most eventualities. So I have an assortment of medicines (painkillers, migraine relief, indigestion tablets) in there as well as the usual purse, cheque book, glasses, tissues, pen, notepad, keys... And I have different sorts of bag as I haven't at the moment got one that really suits my needs. I like ones that have lots of pockets so that you're not plunging around the cavernous depths for a tissue, but that sort is not usually big enough as I often like to carry my A5 sized diary around with me too. ("I never travel without my diary. One should always have something sensational to read in the train." ) Any other handbag comments? Fmu

Slightly belated Happy New Year! No, I ain't making any resolutions; yes, I sympathise completely about the handbag problem. Mine hasn't enough little pockets in it, so it's like a Lucky Dip every time I grope around in there for what I want. Not good, especially in public! Cheers, Poll Love like a hobbit

HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL! My New Year resolutions are not to have so much junk in my entire house... quite a challenge! , to write my novel, to keep fit, to keep my diary, to be on time for stuff... Yeah right... In the real world, I might just manage to move the junk around, write fanfic, watch Rosemary Conley's Keep Fit Video, carry the diary around without ever looking at it, and as for punctuality... well, they say it's rude to be early, don't they? Happy New Year, Ohyesitis! Resolutions? Usual ones - lose weight, eat healthily, take more exercise, be more organised, keep the house more tidy... *Casts eyes resignedly to the ceiling* Fmu

A happy New Year to all my readers. My New Year resolution is not to carry round so much junk in my handbag - this will last about a week. Anyone made any more worthy and more interesting resolutions?
