I guess like it sounds like I'm describing something where people wear crowns or something!! LOL, oh, I would love to have Maria Shriver at my wedding. Hahaha, and someone said that the bride on one of them slept in quaters close to her mother. I guess it was a distinction of honor which her mother knew of.

for my platinum wedding, if I were the royalty type then I would have the full thing, the big, big, big dress that my husband would want and also the scottish kilts and I would wear the black velvet dress, even in the summer, but it could be in the evening, and oh my, what an event WHAT AN EVENT. my my my, and the pink evening is something else. oh my gosh....there's even a sash on my dress with a diamond brooch... it's really spectacular.

my platinum wedding I would want someone to take care of my mother and father if they were aging and make sure that they were treated very, very well and the rest of my family. And of course the children to be really guarded from everythng. Also, every party could be we would be rested, because it seems like you could get really tired.

Oh my gosh, I just had the most wonderful thought related to a platinum wedding and that is that it must be the most incerdible minute to cut the cake when you're husband and wife like that. I would awnt to savor EVERY SINGLE SECOND.... and another thing, in a destination wedding at a hotel, I can just see the wedding guests mullling around in different areas and outside and in the sweet, sweet town and dicovering special things and then at the other hotel where there are other parties. I know, it just seems so wonderful, I can see all of it.I can't think of the music even, but I think something that appeals to everyone. Without mushiness or anything that would make the bride or the groom cry because then yuou'd ruin make-up.. but, I know with mien I would want top diplomats there!! LOL But, I would want sssooo much to have fun and completely love every minute of it. I'd like to watch my guests enjoying themselves. I'd love to see the children in a complete fantasy land, of fun and exploration and complete happiness. I'd love to watch m groom completely, insanely happy with EVERYTHING. I'd like to see my family readjust to everything new and be inspired by a completely new life...

She wanted this Elaborate trousseaus were a sign of wealth and social standing during the Victorian era: "The society woman must have one or two velvet dresses which cannot cost less than $500 each. She must possess thousands of dollars worth of laces, in the shape of flounces, to loop up over the skirts of dresses... Walking dresses cost from $50 to $300; ball dresses are frequently imported from Paris at a cost of from $500 to $1,000... There must be traveling dresses in black silk, in pongee, in pique, that range in price from $75 to $175... Evening robes in Swiss muslin, robes in linen for the garden and croquet, dresses for horse races and yacht races, dresses for breakfast and for dinner, dresses for receptions and parties..." from "Lights and Shadows of New York" by James McCabe, 1872. "A visiting and reception dress was of maroon velvet, trimmed with wide bands of c''s' feathers of the same shade. A second rich costume was of black brocaded silk and plain silk. ." -- from "Miss Vanderbilt's Trousseau," Harper's Bazar, December 15, 1877 THE TROUSSEAU IN LITERATURE

He told her that he had bought her something very, very special for their wedding present and she guessed that it was the winery that she had ALWAYS wanted and he smiled. And then she remembered a conversation that they had had about him not doing the work, but doing the business behind it, and she said of course! He said that he was arranging for many parties at their wedding and that the cameras were taking pictures, for a lot of different reasons, but did she understand a trouseau and she said sort of.

So they all went to work on the preparations for the wedding and it was the way he said it would be, his people would take care of everything. Including getting both of them in shape for the wedding and this would take awhile because she had been liking her chocolate. But, she was happy to do so, getting in shape, that is. And he also said that he would take care of the children in his own manner. And for her not to have hurt feelings about anything. She had many new friends in her life now who needed to take care of details. Also, they had worked out the weekly $10,000 a week, so that things could roll along. He toldher that he had NEVER met a bride who didn't start kieting a year out from their wedding and had she ever? ESPECIALLY if the bride was going to have the WEDDING OF THE CENTURY??? He wanted his bride to look incredible and have everything she wanted too.

I think the way that episode went was he told her that he was going to take care of everything including the children and their safety and he had hired people to do so and that he would have her the same and that he would make everything happy for them. He was going to ask her father for her hand in marriage even at their advanced age , because it was a beautiful thing and her mother would be oer joyed and this would make both of them happy and he sai dthat he couldn't wait until she met his famly too. He was going to make their children INSANELY happy, they wouldn't believe the fairy tale they were living and he would make sure that they blended both families very well, so that no one was missed. They were gonig to lead a very popular, celebrity life, but he told her that he would carefully watch her so that she was always alright and rested and cared for, by him mostly. And their travels would take them every where. And all of those places which she wanted to help and love. Also, she could go to spas with the children and rest and and be happy always, with her children - OF COURSE!~! And her new children....she would live a life of luxury!!! That was a great episode!!!

and I don't remember the rest, just that she loved him very much and this was her dream man come true and she trusted him and loved him and felt the need to have her love for him private ostly andhe the same and that she wanted to be taken care of by him and not think about his career unless it was their own private career together, which they had built together and she was quite proud of. And he overall was concerned for her health, safety and wellbeing and their children because this was his main priority.

He wanted to take care of her and he said that if the wedding was midday then she wouldn't get too tired and it was better for security reasons and dthat there would be things, a party that night, but he wanted her to rest in the afternoon, because there would be alot of people and this is what he wanted and would she understand and she said yes. And then he asked her the big question, could she at this point just be taken care of by him and she asked about business and he said that she would work with him. But, would she relinquish everything else, and let him take care of the responsibilities and she said yes, because she loved him and trusted him. And he smiled, FINALLY....he would take care of all of the detainls and let her rest and take care of herself.

Maybe someone can remember if there was this segment where the bride to be told the groom to be ethat she wanted her sister to be her Matron of Honor and her girls to be her bridesmaids and his girls to be their flower girls if he wanted and he did want that. And she told him that she would love them very, very much and she wanted the dresses to be designed by John Galliano for Dior. He made her tell phim and he said, yes, of course...anything! And she was thinking that the dresses could be a goldish ink, because she loved that and he said yes, of course! And he said that becaue he knew people like this he would start working on it because he didn't want her to worry about it anymore. And he still wanted a midday wedding, and if this is what he wanted she was happy that he had this commitment level and she loved him.

But, she could see how the virgin wool came in and she was really happy about it becasue it was beautiful and would make things so much better. Also, she hoped that she looked absolutely stunning and beautiful for him and that they would never be bored, which she never was since she met him about 9 years ago. And he wasn't bored either. How could they EVER be bored, look at what they did for a living, both of them?

And she had people that helped her with the wedding arrangements and she said that she understood the nature of their work and she would stay committed to the process. They had helped train her to go with the travel aspects, but they knew that she hadn't been aware of her groom to be's desire to have the virgin wool clothing. did she mind, no, it was fine and they assured her that there was no religiousity involved.
