Please do not DUMB down the viewer of First 48 please!

First let me say that I love this show! I would have to believe that people watching the First 48 are of normal to above normal intellect. That being said, there is way to much fluff on this show. When the show comes back from a commercial break, there is no need to rehash the story that we saw 2 minutes earlier. The only possible way for me to watch this show is to Tivo it so I can skip the commercials but more importantly the beginning minute of what has happened two minutes ago. I'm pretty sure we can remember this and do not need a reminder. The other way the viewer is treated like a child is when there is an interrogation and the suspect is speaking, we can listen to him/her. An example would be.. Suspect says he knows who was at the scene...then the announcer speaks over the person and says the same thing. I really love this show but it is very annoying that the show seems to be catered to very thick or ADD viewers. With the fluff out you can either have a half hour show or add another case. Thank you!
