Gosh guys, I am never around anymore. This is supposed to be a "slow" time for me at work (with the hunting season and the holidays) but it is CHAOS! Tonight I have to go BACK there to try to figure something out, which is not great but my other option is to go in at freaking 6 AM cause I have appointments all day tomorrow. I am PRAYING the issue I am dealing with in sample results is a data entry error and not an actual emergency or else it's just going to be hitting the fan...and my supervisor is going to be out of town! All this work is cutting into my message board time! Also I really want to get back out to see my Waterboy...but who knows? Hopefully within the next three weeks I can fit him in! I amswered your post ang, then edited my mean answer about how I hate talking about my past. If everyone else can share so can I.

He sounds so sweet!!! That is good, there are some people out there that will still be with someone. But hell, so many girls have it nowadays, it is not that rare. Don't freak out about it though, I haven't had an outbreak in 10 years, sometimes they go away. I am just scared because of the cancer causing strain that may or may not come with it!

hey ang, you have it too? wow, yea actually more people than you'd think have it! but it still REALLY sucks! i haven't had surgery because of the hpv but i have had my spots frozen off once. yes goat knows, that's one reason what makes him so amazing, you see, we both had HUGE crushes on each other ever since we first met, but i had a boyfriend, so we flirted but never acted on it. well, he kinda had me up on a pedistool, you know like the girl he wants that he can't get that is "so perfect". well when we did finally start talking i had to let him know about me being in rehab which he knew what i had been through but not that i was getting clean. then i got drunk one night and blurted out that he's wasting his time because i have hpv and nobody will ever want to be with me. well he was so good to me, that night while i was drunk he just held me in his lap while i bawled my eyes out, telling me everything was going to be ok and that he was there for me. well the next day when i was sober, i never wanted to talk to him again, if he would even talk to me! i really thought that it was over and that MAYBE we might be able to hangout in crowds but other than that it wasn't going to go any further. well we did keep hanging out just the two of us and things started getting more serious so i asked him when he was going to back out. he said he had had plenty of time to think about it and he wasn't going any where. this made me feel so good but there was still the issue that i would eventually be passing a disease on to him. this took a long time for me to be "ok" with (i will never be completely ok with the fact that i have ruined his life forever). even though he was already over it. after that night when i blurted it all out and he still stuck around, that's how i knew that he was meant for me, i mean come on, who does that? expecially when you FIRST start TALKING to someone and there is NO telling where it will go! still he blows me away, he's just truly an amazing person.

hey peachez, it's cool don't worry about it, it might not be hard to piss people off here but it's deffinately not hard to get back on their good side! we're ok people! and thanks for being understanding to our method of recovery, differnt things work for differnt people! hey ang, i don't mind talking about my disease as that is something i'm trying to learn to be more ok and accepting of, it's taking me 3 years to get to where i am now, and it's not that far! but anyways, i'm not exactly sure what post you are talking about but i have HPV/genital warts (i like never call it that though because that sounds so gross!) basically what it is is there are like all kinds of differnt strands of HPV, some will never effect you and you'll never even know you have it, as a matter of fact something like 1/4 or 1/2 or some percentage of people have it, kinda crazy! but there are other strands that can cause genital warts which is what i have and there are some that cause cervical cancer, you may have seen the comercial for that? but this ray guy that you are talking about, i don't remeber what he had so i don't know if it's the same or not. but i'm trying to get better about this subect in my life and being more open to people so if you, or anyone on here wants to talk/know more about this, or anything else feel free, i don't mind!

22, I was going through some old topics and I saw one where you had responded to it, it was started by a guy named ray and he had a disease. You had posted that you were told you had a disease as well. I do not want to embarrass you, so I will not say what disease it is, but if you don't mind me asking, do you have the same one that ray had?

Also about the confusing posts sequences...Part of the confusion might be that people (like me for example) respond on THIS post to something mentioned in the Gem & SJB post (like Siamese cats, for instance) and if someone comes on here without reading both, they are like, "what the heck? Why is she talking about cats?" -- Edited by tabby15208 at 12/01/2006 11:42 AM

The whole post-missing thing is something that we deal with every so often. It would be nice if there was a reason posts were deleted (i.e. someone calls someone a terrible explenitive) but many vanish for some unknown reason when there is nothing in them really objectionable. I've been in that situation where I am reading people's posts from the night before and they are talking back and forth, almost IM style...and it makes no sense because about 1/3 of the posts were deleted. So don't feel bad 22! That is cool that you have a siamese-type cat. I like the seal points and the flame siamese cats, esp those with the blue eyes, does your cat have blue eyes? My ex had a himilayn (big furrball with squishy face) and he was neat but the hair is a huge issue since they are (as my friend called him) "a mophead with a tail." I always want to get a Siamese mix but they never last at the shelters! They are gone within days. I like big stripy tomcats, that is my new thing. I am excited! And you are not a catwoman- I am though, this will be #4.
