First thanks for answering me. Second, I understood what the movie was about after awhile. "Getting into minds of serial killers". Bundy confessions help all law enforcement and still does to this day. I appreciate law enforcement officers who go to these limits, like yourself, to help protect us from monsters.

to be fair, it really wasn't to bad of a movie...it's the book it's based on. that author is just very dry, i've read that book and another on the calling card of signature killers written by him, and he is just boring as hell!

Rette, I've studied ALOT of serial killers and the only thing that I came away with is this bit of wisdom..if you could understand them you would be one of them. Not understanding them makes you normal..although I am dying to know what makes them tick I never will, and it's better that way..it would be like climbing into a garbage scow.No thanks

I liked the movie butt it really never told me what I really wanted to know.
WHY. The girls were victims,Thier familys were victims. I understand why people study serial killers, but no one has figured out why they do it. Ridgeways excuse is just that an excuse. It's B.S. He killed those girls & tuned around & was scared to pay for it. He is scared to die. What did he think those girls felt. He doesn't feel he should pay with his life. What makes him so special, He deserves what Bundy got.
No one has done a movie about his life or investigated why he did & put on film. I,m sorry but I thought the movie was supposed to be about why he did what he did. Because it didn't tell me anything I didn't know in the first place. Just a bunch of excuses for what he did.

I can't believe how many negative comments I am reading about this awesome movie! Those who were disappointed obviously do not study serial killers - especially Bundy and Ridgeway. You have to study serial killers for years to gain a true understanding of this movie's concept. I am a police instructor and am well-educated on both the Bundy and the Green River cases. Because of that, I knew exactly what the movie was about prior to its showing. I have also read the book. The movie is EXACTLY what I wanted my students to see. I taped it and am using it (along with THE DELIBERATE STRANGER starring Mark Harmon) to educate officers about delving into the mind of a serial killer. The acting and editing was absolutely superb. Both actors deserve an Emmy. Pass on my compliments to them. (The performances were as good and as convincing as Steve Railsback (who played Charles Manson) in HELTER SKELTER.
