I saw this episode for the second time and my prays go out to all involved. I love these types of shows as it helps me feel like not everyone is getting away with murder. Our justice systems needs to grow with our technology as I am learning in my first criminal justice class. In order to save my sanity I have to believe that people who do get away with their crimes and escape punishment here...I have to believe that they will one day face justice even if I am not there to see it. God bless the folks that go out everyday and face things like this. I have always been a "fixer" and when I see things that I can't fix it hurts. I want to suggest to people that even though our justice system is "out of date" on some things we do have the ablility to make changes by coming together as a community and by making our voices heard. It will not change over night (I need to learn patience) but if we "badger" our politicians and vote them out when they don't do what the people want. We can make some much needed updates on our system. My husband and I believe the "magic bullet" is education. We were on vacation five years ago and driving through the southwest; I saw what I can only say is some of the object poverty that one sees in a third world country, right here in our country. I cannot believe that in this country we have people living like that. One of the things that I try to ask people is "why" do you think people turn to drugs and crime? There is a huge gap between the people who "have" and the people who "have not". Get involved where you can to make even the smallest changes. Our system may not be perfect but it beats some of the other alternatives that other countries have to face. Research and then get out and vote! I am in a state where my vote doesn't count and someday, and that may be in the next ten years it may turn around. No you can't change things over night but let the politicians know that "we voted you in" and "we can vote you out" if you don't do the job you were voted in for. Let's teach our children to have a basic respect for others whether it is a neighbor, police, emt....etc. Let us have a basic respect for human life and lets try to find solutions to some of these issues. Anyway, thanks for this site and for the shows that show us the hard work and dedication that many are putting in for all of us.

I'm completely obsessed with this show. I totally respect all the investigators and what they do. I've watched mostly all episodes but none touched me more than "The Witness." I pray for that man, and i hope he has whats coming for him. What he did was so senseless and i hope he realized that.

I didnt see this episode but just reading the post I have an idea of what happen. Its sad to know that on a daily basis lives are taken with no remorse. I can just imagine how it feels to be 10 and watch my parents murdered, that is an amazing thing to have on your mind for the rest of your life. I feel sooo sorry for her. I hope the guy that did it mr BO with his no life butt go to jail and just be isolated. I hope he think about it everyday. xoxo to the poor little girl you are in my prayers.

Bo's Girl.....What college you go to that doesnt teach proper vernacular? When u speak, do u make all your statements sound like questions? Just asking. I too know what its like to know or have dated someone who was accused of things, including murder and it is extremely difficult to cut them off....I didnt. I remained friends. Im not saying u shouldnt and I dont know if he is in fact the shooter....But I do know his behavior regardless if he did or didnt was repulsive. He laughed at them photos of them laying their with their masks splattered all over the ground. But do u ma. Handle yours....

What happened was that the dumba**, Benito, got his a** whipped and wasn't man enough to just take the whippin'. Instead, he chose to take the lives of two people, in front of their daughter, because he was "disrespected". It happens all the time, it's just another instance of black on black crime that will continue due to the ignorance and frustration brought on by being a young black man in today's society. Socioeconomic conditions must be changed in order for the behavior to correct itself and no one is willing to help with that because of the behavior, so it keeps on evolving, unfortunately, towards the worst.

I just would like to say hello to everyone! I am new to the web site, but I have always' watch the show and I love watching the show. I would just like to say to Bo's girl keep your head up and I understand that you love your man, but if he really did kill these two people weather it was in front of the child or not then he should pay for it. It sadden me that two more lives were lost and another black man will go to prison for it. We need to stop killing one another and LOVE one another! I know it is easier said then done but we need to try!! Also I think it is more to this case then is being said. Like what really happen leading up to the shooting!

Hey you guys, I did some investigating of my own and found that the latest news on this little Benito prick is that he has a trial date set for 1/11/07 at 09:15. Seeing as how his case was filed on 2/17/2006 I'd say that justice is slowly creeping up on the little prick. It does however bring me some joy to know that he will be celebrating his 18th birthday tomorrow behind bars. He was born 12/18/1988. Unbelievable that someone so young could do something so horrible, but that's the kind of world we live in. If you want to keep tabs on the case, it's case #F06005240. You can access it at http://www.miami-dadeclerk.com/cjis/search1.asp Have a good day all.

I'm new to this board, but came on often to view other people views & comments..But I would like to state that this episode had to be the best episode besides "Jhu: Alibi Fool Proof" to ever air on the 1st 48....I honestly think that the producers of this show should air more episodes as these with such contents. My opinion regarding to this episode is I honestly felt bad for the daughter, but felt even worse for the killer...To be so young, and going around the neighborhood killing people for a living when he should have had his head in some books or his a-- in the house one...At a young age, how can you have a heart to kill someone? I don't think homeboy realized that he had so much to live for, he had time to make something of himself, but instead, he choose to throw it all away by killing someone else love ones....I hope that someone pls keep us posted on this case because I would like to hear the outcome of Benito sentence...Thx.. -- Edited by ATLladee at 11/03/2006 10:55 AM

SO I HAVE TO HEAR BOTH SIDES 0F THE STORY AND MY OPIONION DONT MATTER RIGHT NOW SO...IM GOING TO LEAVE THAT ALONE BUT AS FOR ME IM DOING ALRIGHT IM IN MY INTERNS,AND WHAT HURTS ME THE MOST ABOUT THIS CASE IS I DEAL WITH KIDS,TEENAGERS,MOTHERS AND FATHERS EVERYDAY BECAUSE OF THE WRONG DECISSION THAT THEY MAKE IN THEIR LIVES?
